Recognized by StateScoop, Nikhil was the recipient of one of eight State Leadership of the Year awards in 2018. StateScoop awards recognize innovative and foward-thinking leaders around the country. Each year, the Atlanta Business Chronicle recognizes 40 individuals that make an outstanding impact in their work and their community. Nikhil was nominated and selected as one of this year's elite recipients.
Winner of the NASCIO State IT Recognition Award
The Digital Services Georgia team was the recipient of the National Association of State Chief Information Officers State IT Recognition Award in the category of Government to Citizen for the Accessibility Initiative. The initiative spanned over a year and focused on making all State of Georgia websites accessible to all citizens.

Winner of the StateScoop Innovation of the Year Award
The Digital Services Georgia team was selected as one of 50 IT leaders making a difference in state and local government. This award was given for the implementation of the Responsive Web Design Initiative for State of Georgia websites.

Finalist for Blue Drop Awards' Best Government Website
The Blue Drop Awards is a Drupal-focused, independent event created in 2012 to recognize people, businesses, and thought-leaders that have maximized the capabilities of Drupal. It is a community-nominated and community-voted event and finalists are chosen by the Blue Drop Awards Nominating Committee.
W3 International Academy of the Visual Arts Silver Award Winner
W3 recognizes creative web design and the professional minds that design them. The web competition is available to small businesses and Fortune 500 companies. W3 awarded Digital Services Georgia the Silver Award in Government for the GeorgiaGov Redesign.

The Center for Digital Government recognizes web and digital achievements in different categories each year. Digital Services Georgia received the 2012 Special Innovation Award.
Communicator Award Winner in Government, Copy or Writing, and Visual Appeal
The Communicator Awards are an international award competition that recognizes innovative marketing and communication efforts. Over 6,000 nominations are submitted each year and is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts. Digital Services Georgia was the recipient of the Communicator Award in Government, Copy or Writing, and Visual Appeal.
