How would you explain your job to an alien?

I make a customer’s pain-point less painful by guiding them to services and products via contracts designed for the public sector. I review market trends, recommend scope of future offerings by analyzing product and technical requirements; and evaluate new product ideas.

What is one of your proudest accomplishments? 

Worked on an 8-month team project to secure federal grant funds for a health agency to update their statewide telecommunication system. Not only did I enhance my knowledge of wireless networks, I learned a great deal about federal grant programs.

“Keep showing up!”, Des Linden, winner of the 2018 Boston Marathon. Weather conditions were very unkind, she wasn’t feeling well and wanted to quit, but didn’t. She was the first American woman in 33 years to win the race.

What part of the job do you like the most?

This sounds cliché, but it’s being a problem-solver. Customers reach out with questions and it’s my role to provide answers. Customers also want to talk about tough issues and it’s my role to accompany them to solutions.
