Hadi Rezaei
Web Accessibility Coordinator
As Web Accessibility Coordinator for Digital Services & Solutions, Hadi Rezaei serves as the state's subject matter expert on digital accessibility. He works with agencies across Georgia to make sure their websites, applications, and electronic communications meet WCAG, Section 508, and ADA standards — and are genuinely usable for residents with disabilities.
Hadi brings more than eight years of hands-on accessibility experience and is a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) through the International Association of Accessibility Professionals. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Islamic Azad University.
Before joining DSGa, he led accessibility work at an internet service provider in Tehran and taught screen readers and assistive technology to more than 50 blind and visually impaired students. Outside of work, he builds accessibility tools as personal projects — including a screen-reader-friendly guitar tab reader and an app that opens up Microsoft Flight Simulator to blind aviation enthusiasts.

How would you explain your job to an alien?
Imagine that every government service on Earth has a door, but some of the doors are built in a way that not all humans can open. My job is to find those doors and make sure they work for everyone — including the humans whose bodies, senses, or minds work in ways the original builders didn't think about.
What is one of your proudest accomplishments?
One of my proudest accomplishments was training young dogs with the Iranian Red Cross. Many of them went on to become search-and-rescue dogs or therapy dogs for children with autism. Teaching a puppy the basics is one thing, but knowing that the work I did with them helped them grow into dogs who would one day save lives or bring comfort to a child — that's something I'll always carry with me.
