How To Define the Success of Your Digital Properties

In his keynote for GOVTalks Spring 2020, Chief Digital Officer Nikhil Deshpande gave attendees a detailed look at digital metrics strategies and the critical role they play in helping agencies measure, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of their digital properties. He also discussed the ways that GovHub, the state’s official digital publishing system, and its performance measurement tool, Siteimprove, give agencies everything they need to monitor, evaluate, and improve their website’s performance.

GovHub and the New SEO

At GOVTalks Spring 2020, DSGa’s Amanda de Zayas, Content Strategist, and Ericca Farrington, Outreach Coordinator, teamed up to talk about Search Engine Optimization (SEO). We learned what SEO is, how search engines work, and what makes up a search ranking. They also explained how agencies can use Siteimprove’s SEO tools to help constituents find their websites quickly and easily via search engines, like Google, Yahoo! and Bing.

Journey to the Top of Maslow’s Pyramid With GovHub

The DSGa team just finished migrating 80+ websites to GovHub, Georgia’s official digital publishing system powered by Drupal 8. While this may seem like the end of a long trip, the real journey is just about to begin!

Added Security With Federated User Authentication

Digital Services Georgia is introducing federated authentication for all websites migrating to Drupal 8; providing content management access to multiple sites on GovHub through a single set of login credentials.

With the People: Introducing pilot.georgia.gov

The Digital Services Georgia (DSGa) team is excited to launch pilot.georgia.gov. This pilot site is more than a facelift to the existing Georgia.gov website; it’s a modern way of managing content and interactions.

What To Expect With Your Migration

DSGa's new digital publishing system was built to ensure our agencies have everything necessary for their users — the citizens of Georgia. Citizens won’t lose access to your site with the migration to Drupal 8, but they will notice the changes when you migrate your agency’s website to GovHub.
